Our Mission
To promote high self-esteem, determination, persistence, high
academic achievement, community involvement, sisterhood, brotherhood, and the importance of health in young women and men between the ages of 4 -18 through the art of dance and education.
About Us
The WTDR Dance Company is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization in Lubbock, Texas. WTDR has hopes of helping young women and men reach their goals. For 2019, 2021, and 2022 the WTDR Dance Company was ranked Division I, and received Sweepstakes, by the American Dance/Drill Team Association. They also attended the ADDT Nationals Competition and received 1st Runner-Up in the Hip Hop Category and 2nd Runner-Up in the Contemporary and Jazz Categories. Our dance company helps to mold productive citizens, while impacting the lives of others through youth outreach, health, wellness, and the dance styles of Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Majorette Dancing. We build and produce "Dancers" knowing that "Technique" is a vital element of the wonderful world of dance.
